Description
The rural settlement of Collazzoni is developed along the road and is surrounded by some other villages, as Civitelle, Villa del Guado and Villa Campanara, named in statutes of Norcia “Ville interprata”, that means villages among the meadows.
In the central part of the village are many aristocratic buildings. In ancient times Collazzoni was quite peopled, so that in the first half of the eighteenth century it had 200 inhabitants and seven churches, three of which were located inside the castle, the other four were rural.
