Description
The castle of Biselli was built in the 13th century.
The triangular floor plan, frequently found in castles built on a slope, was modified in an unusual way due to the inaccessibility of the area: the tower is situated at the most prominent point, but the nucleus at the acute angle was also well fortified with a buttress jutting out over the Corno valley.
Once it lost its control over the road at the bottom of the valley, the population gradually left and today it is completely abandoned. Despite all this, the town is still fairly well preserved with the exception of a few parts and a fairly large section of the town wall with its fortified elements is still standing
