Description
The little town centre of Fergino is an agricultural village built around a small Romanesque church, with few sparse, agricultural buildings, most of which have been recently restored.
It lies at an altitude of 799 m. a.s.l. with a panoramic view over the Nera Valley below and the surrounding mountains next to a rocky peak with ruins called Aquilana, a place name that is witness to the presence and nesting place of the bird of prey, the eagle.
