Description
The Church of Santa Maria Assunta, in the hamlet of Collegiacone, is a recent building that fits in well with its new urban surroundings.
From the old Church it inherited its name, the painting of the Immaculate with the Saints Michael Archangel and Bartholomew, the painting of the circle of the Cavalier d’Arpino (17th century), the stoup, the baptistery (from the 16th century) and the gold and silver, laminated metal, Astylar cross, richly decorated with floral and figurative ornaments also from the 16th century.
