Capanne di Collegiacone is a very small, rural nucleus built in the saddle formed by the mountains Mt. Della Sassa and Mt. Rucino, at the crossroads of minor mountain paths that used to link the Corno Valley with the Valley of the Tissino using an easily accessible place (Forca della Croce and Fonte di Mechiglio).
