The walk begins in the square in front of the church of Villa San Silvestro, below which you can see the ruins of a Roman temple from the 3rd century B.C. Take the tarmac road towards the SP 474, turn right at the crossroads towards Leonessa and continue along the tarmac road.
Leave the SP 474 after approx. 400 m, turn right on to an oak-lined path and go straight on. Go past the cemetery on your right, keep straight on for about 600m along the clearly marked path. Keep straight on as far as the tarmac road and take the cart track opposite. When you get to the fork with a fountain, turn right and continue for approx. 700 m. as far as a crossroads. To your left is a tool shed, turn right here towards Carnacile. Go past the stream and walk alongside a low wall before going uphill. When you come out on a bend, bear right first on flat ground and then downhill for approx. 1km. The final stretch begins to go uphill towards and elegant, art nouveau villa on your left. When you reach Piazzetta di Buda keep straight ahead slightly uphill towards the village. When you get to a crossroads opposite a vegetable plot with a pergola, turn right downhill. Go past the fountain on your right, continue along the apparently flat path on the left. Keep straight on for approx. 1.3 km under the shade of centuries-old oak trees. At the fork bear left towards Villa S. Silvestro.. as you approach the village, you will go past a fountain on your left and when you come face to face with stone wall, turn right. Cross the village of Villa S. Silvestro and go back to your starting point.
